About this conference
The Minnesota State Association of Narcotics Investigators (MSANI) hosts the CanAm Conference, an event designed to foster communication and collaboration among federal, state, and local law enforcement professionals, as well as prosecutors, who are engaged in drug-related investigations. The conference aims to enhance collective efforts against narcotics activity in Minnesota by facilitating shared intelligence, providing professional training, advocating for relevant legislation, and promoting the exchange of investigative tools and techniques. The 2026 program includes a keynote address by ATF Agent Lou Vazole on 'Perspectives and Policing' and an endnote by Canadian freelance journalist Katarina Szulc. Breakout sessions will cover diverse topics such as DOC OSI-Gangs, 908 Devices, FBI--Cast Viz, Postal Case Study, Hennepin County Case Study, and BCA/Tribal Case Study.
