About this conference
This event series takes participants through the full affordable housing development journey—from blueprints to buildings—highlighting key stages of the development cycle and the opportunities, resources, and partnerships available along the way. More than a standalone two-day event, the series is designed as an interconnected learning experience, with each symposium building on the last. Day one of every symposium explores the development lifecycle, while day two features evolving themes and topics that deepen participants' understanding and engagement. Attendees are encouraged to participate in multiple symposiums to gain the full benefit of the series. The Cleveland, OH event focuses on Revitalizing and Preserving Neighborhoods and Bringing Housing Back Online. Regional two-day symposiums are designed to strengthen local capacity to develop, preserve, finance, and support affordable housing and community development initiatives. Through hands-on workshops, peer learning, and expert-led discussions, participants will explore practical strategies for moving housing concepts from vision to implementation. Participants will have opportunities to engage with affordable housing practitioners, local and national experts, community development organizations, and peers from across the region. The symposium series is intended to cultivate collaboration, strengthen development knowledge, and support innovative approaches to expanding housing opportunities.
