About this conference
The Association of Firearm and Tool Mark Examiners (AFTE) is the international professional organization for practitioners of Firearms and Tool Mark Identification, dedicated to the exchange of information, methods, and best practices, and the furtherance of research since its creation in 1969. The 56th Annual Training Seminar serves as a platform for the dissemination of information, methods, research, and other educational material relating to firearms, tool marks, and associated areas, with a focus on educational purposes to discuss topics and information that will further the field of firearm and tool mark identification. The seminar will be held in the heart of Baltimore's scenic Inner Harbor, at the Marriott Baltimore Waterfront.
