The 6th Waterfront Symposium is an annual conference hosted by the Surface Navy Association in collaboration with the U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, and international partners. It focuses on exploring skills, strategies, and innovations within the surface warfare community, emphasizing operational excellence, leadership, and adaptability in modern naval engagements. The agenda includes discussions and updates from U.S. Navy and Marine Corps leadership on various topics such as surface warfare schools, officer distribution, combat leadership, surface requirements, fleet training and sustainment, maintenance, small business innovations, unmanned surface vessels, and reserve updates. The event also features mentoring sessions and an ESWS/SWO Pinning Ceremony. Active duty military personnel receive complimentary access to facilitate diverse insights and discussions.
