About this conference
The Civil Global Positioning System Service Interface Committee (CGSIC) serves as the recognized worldwide forum for effective interaction between all civil GPS users and the U.S. GPS authorities. Coordinated and managed by the U.S. Coast Guard Navigation Center (NAVCEN) in cooperation with the Department of Transportation, this 65th meeting will be hosted by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Office of Positioning, Navigation, Timing (PNT) & Spectrum Management and NAVCEN. Agendas for the Subcommittee and Plenary sessions will include presentations on the operational status and modernization of the GPS constellation of satellites, U.S. space-based PNT national U.S. policy, GPS augmentation systems, information related to U.S. engagement with other international Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), as well as a variety of interesting applications and use of GPS. The meeting will be conducted in a hybrid format and is free and open to the public.
