About this conference
NACC's 49th National Child Welfare Law Conference will be in Portland, Oregon. This annual event brings together professionals from child welfare law and intersecting fields to exchange ideas, information, and collective efforts. The theme, "Solutions That Sustain: Cultivating Community, Advancing Practice," invites child welfare professionals to move beyond problem identification toward uplifting and co-creating systems and practices that work. The conference will explore how to cultivate communities of practice that empower clients and colleagues, bridge gaps across disciplines and jurisdictions, and inspire compassionate, lasting solutions for children and families. Sessions are designed for a national audience, including attorneys, judges, and multidisciplinary professionals working in child welfare, to expand understanding of the law, provide practical tools, and offer strategies for systems improvement.
