25th Northern Wild Sheep & Goat Biennial Symposium

The 25th Northern Wild Sheep and Goat Council (NWSGC) Biennial Symposium is a professional gathering dedicated to the management and conservation of northern wild sheep and mountain goat populations and their habitats across North America. Hosted by the Nevada Department of Wildlife, the symposium serves as a forum for leading wild sheep and goat managers, researchers, students, sportsmen, and enthusiasts to share research results, management strategies, and discuss emerging issues. The event includes keynote addresses, technical presentations, special sessions on topics such as Mountain Goat Management and Conservation, Advancements in Mycoplasma Strain-Typing, and Wild Sheep Movement Ecology, as well as a business meeting and field trips to the Ruby Mountains and East Humboldt Ranges to observe mountain ungulates.
