2027 NIAIA Training Conference

The National Internal Affairs Investigators Association (NIAIA) hosts an annual training conference dedicated to educating, developing, and assisting internal affairs units and their investigators. The conference showcases issues of concern and interest to IA investigators and provides extensive opportunities for networking with other IA professionals. It aims to help members develop and establish professional standards of performance and integrity, receive quality training, network with peers, discuss common problems and current court decisions, disseminate information on improved administrative and technical practices, assist agencies in the founding and continued development of their IA units, and encourage cooperation and an exchange of information/experience among internal affairs investigators.
