The ShepsGME Technical Assistance Centers (TACs) are hosting the 2026 Rural and Health Center National Graduate Medical Education Conference. This annual conference is open to the public and is for anyone interested in rural and underserved graduate medical and dental education program development and sustainability. This two-and-a-half day event will foster a collaborative learning community focused on developing and sustaining residencies in rural and underserved areas, encouraging the continued sharing of outcomes and successful practices in residency start-up and vitality. Conference sessions will provide attendees with enhanced support and resources related to rural medical residency development and health center medical and dental residency development and sustainability, including: Program design and development, Financial planning, Institutional sponsorship, Program accreditation, Program implementation, Community engagement.
