About this conference
With the release of the Chief of Naval Operationsâ Fighting Instructions and the strategic direction provided by the Secretary of the Navy, the imperative for the Navyâs Information Warfare Community is clear: âDelivering Information Warfare at Speed.â Information Warfare capabilities are critical to the Navyâs ability to fight and win. This day-long, industry-focused Top Secret SI/TK//NOFORN-level discussion is hosted by selected Navy Leadership and leaders from the office of the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Information Warfare (N2N6) / Director of Naval Intelligence, in collaboration with AFCEA Intelligence and the Naval Intelligence Professionals. The event will focus on how the Information Warfare enterprise supports the Secretaryâs strategic direction and the CNOâs Fighting Instructions, including a strategic overview, Intelligence update, discussions on Secretary of the Navy John Phelanâs initiatives in portfolio management and requirements, and topics driving the N2N6 team such as Fighting from the Maritime Operations Center and Electronic Warfare. The goal is to thoughtfully explore how the public and private sectors can best work together to address the Navy's gaps and barriers to programmatic and operational success, providing business intelligence to advance and ingrain information warfare.
