About this conference
The 2026 Land Trust Alliance Advocacy Days brings together staff, board members, and volunteers from Alliance member land trusts to advocate for land conservation policy priorities. Participants will engage with the 119th Congress, educate members of Congress and key agency staff about the important work of the land trust community, and build strong relationships with legislators. The event includes an issue briefing, advocacy training for first-timers, opportunities to meet with members of Congress, hear from Capitol Hill figures, and network with peers. The mission is to strengthen the political influence of the land trust community and motivate elected officials through personal stories of land and water conservation.
