2026 Forest Inventory and Analysis (FIA) National User Group Meeting

The 2026 Forest Inventory and Analysis (FIA) National User Group Meeting is hosted by the Society of American Foresters (SAF) and the National Council for Air and Stream Improvement, Inc. (NCASI). This in-person convening aims to support the USDA Forest Service Forest Inventory and Analysis (FIA) program and its growing stakeholder community. It serves as a forum to bring together FIA leaders and stakeholders to foster two-way learning and improve alignment of user needs and agency resources. Overarching goals include identifying stakeholder priorities, facilitating active relationships between FIA leads and stakeholders, highlighting current or potential solutions to common issues, and providing clarity and insight into program budget, staffing, and current agency priorities.
