About this conference
The Association of Inspectors General is pleased to offer its Inspector General Institute® Certified Inspector General® program. Participants receive instruction from highly qualified instructors in core competency areas identified by the Association's Board of Directors and the Professional Certification Board. The Association awards the designation of Certified Inspector General® to individuals who successfully complete the certification programs. The five-day curriculum covers six core competency areas: Context of the inspector general function, Ethics, Legal issues, Office management issues, Investigating fraud, waste, and abuse, and Audits, inspections, and reviews.
