This Mission Fulfillment Self-Reflection Report evaluates Wenatchee Valley College's progress against its strategic plan (2024-2030). It details 16 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with five core values: Community, Opportunity, Inclusivity, Learning, and Student-Centeredness. The board discussed and approved the 2025-2026 operating budget, including clarification regarding earmarked revenue. Additionally, a correction was approved for the President's contract, updating the renewal period to January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2028.

The board meeting included a study session focused on institutional initiatives, such as the Leadership Development Cohort, the Middle Leadership Academy, and a new lecture series. Discussions also covered a first read of a new transfer credit policy, proposed revisions to the board policy manual, the upcoming operating budget, and several degree title modifications. During the regular session, the board addressed concerns raised by faculty regarding the budget and leadership through public comment. Additionally, the board approved modifications to degree titles and unanimously voted to renew the President’s contract for a three-year term.

The meeting encompassed a study session and a regular business session. Key topics included a presentation on the Homeless Student Stability Housing and Education Program, enrollment reporting, and a first reading of the 2026-2027 budget. The board reviewed academic calendars, student government budgets, and various policy updates, including regulations on regular and substantive interaction, student privacy rights, and personal device use. Action items addressed tuition and fee waivers, the tuition fee schedule, and the appointment of new employees. Additionally, the agenda featured reports from student and faculty organizations and a recognition ceremony for the All Washington Academic Team.

The board entered into an executive session to evaluate the qualifications of an applicant for public employment or review the performance of a public employee. Following the session, the board approved sabbatical leave requests for two faculty members for the 2024-2025 academic year, in accordance with the faculty professional development committee recommendations and existing contract requirements.
