Work consists of approx 5,269 LF of 4" watermain and 350 LF of 2" water main boreinstalled by open excavation, or as a bid alternate, installed by horizontal directional drill. •Removal and disposal of an existing coal fired boiler, piping, augers, flue, appurtenances, etc. •Removal and disposal heat pumps, piping, etc. •Removal and disposal of existing heating water solution and replacement with new glycol solution. •Provide two (2) LP fired boilers with all piping, wiring, valves, appurtenances, equipment, ventilation, etc. Boilers will be set on a new housekeeping pad. •Provide onsite 18,000-gallon LP storage tank/facility, provide underground LP gas line, electric vaporizer, underground electric lines, etc. •Provide new heating water pumps on a new housekeeping pad, piping, valves, etc. •Remove existing wiring, conduit, equipment, etc. that has been identified for removal. •Installation of new destratification fans and associated controls (Add Alternate 1). •Replacement of existing hot water unit heaters with new and additional hot water unit heaters and associated Building Automation System controls (Add Alternate 2). •Provide all necessary electrical improvements including wiring, conduit, equipment, etc. for the proposed and future equipment. Work may include but not limited to, removal of existing equipment, mechanical and electrical components. Contractor will need to repair/patch all floors, wall & roof penetrations that were left from the equipment that is removed. Contractor shall provide housekeeping pads and cut existing concrete surfacing and patch to install new LP gas line and underground electric lines. Contractor shall provide electrical wiring, conduit, equipment for the proposed and future equipment/facilities. Contractor will also need to provide site grading and surfacing for the LP storage tank. Additionally, the Contractor will be responsible for all other miscellaneous work required not herein mentioned but inferred from the construction Contract Documents.

Interior shall be abrasive blasted and completely coated with zinc-rich primer and a single full coat of epoxy, a stripe coat of epoxy shall be applied after primer; surface preparation and recoating of exterior of carbon steel ground storage reservoir. Exterior shall be completely power washed with spot repairs as necessary with surface preparation and acrylic mastic spot prime, full prime coat of acrylic mastic, intermediate coat of polyurethane and a topcoat of polyurethane; construction of an access ladder from roof hatch to tank floor. Ladder shall be FRP construction with fall protection system; and miscellaneous aluminum dome repairs.
