Warren County Community College

The Board of Trustees meeting included presentations on strategic planning outcomes, reaffirmation of associate degree program requirements, academic year/semester definitions, and additional degree policies. New policies regarding staff communication to the Board were introduced. Revisions were considered for student transcripts and general education requirements. The consent agenda covered financial statements, personnel recommendations, exemptions from the New Jersey First Act, contract awards for an updated Facilities Master Plan, snow removal services, servers, and proprietary software, as well as board member orientation, leave time, distance education, and master syllabus policies. Reports were given by the President, covering the 2026 Strategic Plan process, and by the College, addressing wireless equipment, flooding issues, an EOF Audit, and other financial matters. Additional reports included the Internal Auditors Report, a Middle States Update, and a Foundation Report focusing on scholarship funds.

The 2022-2025 Strategic Plan for Warren County Community College prioritizes student success, community engagement, and fiscal sustainability. Key areas of focus include revitalizing the student learning experience through new technologies, enhancing community relations and workforce development, improving student access, equity, and inclusivity, ensuring wise investment of capital funds, and building a sustainable financial model. The plan addresses post-COVID realities, including workforce shifts, demographic changes, and the need to adapt to evolving student needs and technological advancements. Outcomes include the college's re-emergence as a stronger institution, increased funding, enrollment growth, and the development of new academic programs. The plan emphasizes a data-driven approach to measure success across various indicators, including enrollment growth, student satisfaction, retention, campus climate, graduation rates, and post-graduate success.
