The Board of Commissioners adopted the 2021 base fee and commodity rates, effective for billings generated on or after January 1, 2021, which includes a 2.5% net increase to the fixed rate portion and no increase to the commodity portion. The district completed the Buttes Telemetry project and is working on replacing aging infrastructure in the Alderwood System. Projects include recoating the Buttes and Chinook Reservoirs, constructing a new Valley Reservoir and Booster Pump Station, and installing an emergency intertie with a neighboring utility. Improvements are planned for the Sierra System, including adding generators and security fencing. Additionally, booster pumps were replaced in the Winchester System. The Board of Commissioners has also adopted a Utility Customer Support Program to assist ratepayers who have fallen behind on their accounts during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
