The HIV and Aging and Long-term and Lifetime Survivors subcommittee is working on three short-term goals: developing a resolution recommending an audit of state aging plans concerning people living with HIV, crafting a resolution urging the adaptation of the SHIP program for Medicare transition support for people living with HIV, and advocating for including older adults living with HIV as a population of greatest social need during the Older Americans Act reauthorization.
