Work includes roadway resurfacing, base repairs, and ADA curb ramp replacement. The contractor shall provide mobilization(s), maintenance and protection of traffic, and temporary erosion and sediment controls as required to perform the work. a. Pavement Resurfacing and Pavement Markings i. Contractor shall inventory all pavement striping, prior to milling. ii. 1.5" depth milling of the existing asphalt pavement surface. Milling limits shall be marked out and reviewed with the Engineer prior to milling. iii. Contractor shall provide a fully loaded triaxle dump truck and proof roll the milled surface with the Engineer to mark areas for base repair. iv. Asphalt base repairs, if and where directed by the Engineer. v. Construction of Superpave Asphalt Scratch Course, if and where directed by the Engineer. vi. Construction of 1.5" Superpave Asphalt Wearing Course. vii. Contractor shall replace all existing pavement markings on resurfaced roadways in accordance with PennDOT.
