Township of Strasburg

The commission conducted an organizational meeting to elect officers and set the meeting schedule for the year. During the regular session, discussions focused on a proposed extended family dwelling ordinance and a potential revision, known as Revision #2, which aims to preserve farmland while addressing family housing needs. Additionally, the commission approved the completion of Component 4A of the sewage planning module for the same development. The meeting also addressed a request to reduce buffer plantings at The Meadows of Strasburg, which was tabled for further review in spring, and held a discussion regarding a proposed ordinance amendment for extended family dwellings, which was tabled until the next meeting.

The agenda includes financial reports detailing payroll, tax, and various fund expenditures, and a request for Refton Fire Police assistance for a Memorial Day parade.
