The River Central Multi-Municipal Comprehensive Plan outlines a shared vision and strategic direction for its five member communities, aiming to foster a sustainable, thriving, and high-quality living environment. Key strategic goals include balancing preservation and development with appropriate infrastructure, promoting a coordinated mixed-transportation region, protecting farmland and enhancing the farming economy, preserving natural, recreation, cultural, and historic resources, enhancing housing opportunities for all, and strengthening safe, healthy, creative, inclusive, and livable communities. The plan emphasizes collaboration to navigate growth, address challenges, and build regional resiliency.

The meeting included discussions on modifying conditions of Conditional Use 2024-03, approving Resolution 2025-11 for Amending Agricultural Security Area, approving a request for a 90-day extension for the Farmhouse Village Major and Minor Subdivision, and approving a request for a 1-year extension for the Pin Oak Minor Subdivision. Reports were given by various staff members, including updates on roof damage to the Public Works building and dumping on Township roads. The board discussed the need for a replacement backhoe and updates on the Jacksonville Park Basketball Court replacement. A motion was made to remove outdated exercise stations at Bicentennial Park. The board also reviewed correspondence, including a Notice of Engagement of Auditor General 2024-2025 Liquid Fuels Audit and Appointment of Emergency Management Coordinator and Notice of Past Due Emergency Operations Plan (EOP).
