The board discussed several items, including a public hearing for the adoption of the Water Hook-up Ordinance and a withdrawn request for a hay press water connection. The meeting covered updates on the Right-of-way Ordinance, Sheriff's office contracts, a town clean-up event, and ongoing park, recreation, and cemetery projects. Road maintenance issues, including road grading and the management of dead animal carcasses on private property, were addressed. Additionally, the council received reports on the county fire department transition, water infrastructure improvements such as new meter installations, and potential water source acquisitions.

The council members signed an annual ethical behavior pledge, appointed a treasurer, and discussed project bids for RAPZ funding. Additional updates were provided regarding cemetery management, the planning of an appreciation dinner, canal bridge crossing repair negotiations, road work at intersection 800 South and 400 East, and ongoing Planning and Zoning ordinance updates. Finally, the council approved a weed control contract with the County for town property.
