The Chandler MS4 Stormwater Board meeting included updates from the Storm Water Coordinator regarding the stormwater balance, floodplain management, and preparation for an IDEM audit. The board discussed and recommended a $1.50 monthly stormwater fee increase to the Council. Additionally, a video on major floods was shared, and ideas concerning flood mitigation were discussed.

The meeting included updates and approvals regarding several key items. The ordinance concerning "Certificate of Occupancy" for major remodels was updated and approved. The board was informed about the hiring of a new Building and Floodplain Manager for the Town of Chandler. The board discussed adopting a similar ordinance for harmful gas and decided to allow their attorney to draft one for Chandler. August permits and inspections, which included 17 permits and 20 inspections, were approved.

The Chandler Area Planning Commission meeting included discussions on mine footings and a harmful gas ordinance, with a suggestion to add mine footing requirements to the ordinance for development on reclaimed surface mine areas. The commission also reviewed and approved a Lot Line adjustment for Speedway Developers. August permits and inspections were approved, which included 15 permits and 9 inspections.

The Chandler Area Planning Commission held a meeting that included a public hearing for rezoning the Speedway Development, where a petition for rezoning was presented with proposed changes from R-1 to R-4 and C-3 to R-1 and R-2. Concerns about flooding and trespassing were addressed. An amended ordinance regarding the Certificate of Occupancy for major remodels was approved. The commission discussed the assignment of correct addresses on Pine Tree Drive and clarified permit requirements for fence replacements. July permits and inspections were approved.
