The project includes replacing 17 cables (7 single cables in a single conduit and 10 cables in 7 conduits - multiple cables in a single conduit). Most cable runs are less than 100 feet in length as they connect padmounted equipment within the substation. Five cables leaving the substation as part of the feeder get-a-ways require replacement and are longer runs, three runs are single cable in single conduit and one run is three cables in a single conduit. The t-bodies will be reused and the cable ends of existing cables that will not be replaced will be protected and reused. There are four (4) padmount switchgear and three (3) single phase padmounted reclosers that will need to be removed and re-installed along with the vault lids. All six (6) riser terminations will be replaced with 35kv terminations.
