Additionally, it seeks to improve the health of Oklahoma through education, research, and patient-centered care, while shaping the future through discovery, creativity, and innovation.

The meeting included discussions and potential votes on various matters, including the selection of a new president for Rogers State University, confidential communications with the Board's attorney regarding investigations and claims, and routine reviews of employment terms and conditions for university personnel. Other agenda items covered housing and food service rates for Cameron University and Rogers State University, contract renewals for food and custodial services, audit and compliance services, academic promotions and tenure actions, and various other personnel actions.
