Additionally, the committee discussed and approved a revision to the charter of Elm Community Charter School and approved the placement of Albany Leadership Charter School for Girls on probationary status.
The Charter Schools Committee convened to discuss several key issues, including a hearing regarding the recommendation of non-renewal for Buffalo Creek Academy Charter School. The committee then went into executive session to receive legal advice, followed by a public session where they voted on the application for charter non-renewal.
