The SUNY University Faculty Senate (SUNY UFS) reiterated its condemnation of all forms of harassment, discrimination, intimidation, threats, retaliation, incitement to imminent violence, and actual violence, including antisemitism. SUNY UFS urges Chancellor King to convene a SUNY-wide group to develop recommendations for ensuring that charges of antisemitism do not infringe on academic freedom, which may include establishing an official SUNY definition of antisemitism. The resolution recommends that an official SUNY definition of antisemitism must permit political criticism, academic freedom and expression, and university decision-making without such activities necessarily or presumptively being designated as antisemitic.

The resolution endorses the Joint SUNY UFS, SUNY FCCC, and CUNY UFS Statement on Funding Public Higher Education. It builds upon previous resolutions and statements advocating for New York State to lead in college affordability. The resolution acknowledges record increases in state operating aid and emphasizes the need for increased recurring direct state operating support for SUNY and CUNY institutions to promote student access and success, and to drive regional economic and workforce development. It also urges action to maximize federal investments in SUNY and CUNY, expand student access, enhance working conditions, and craft a SFY26 Executive Budget that prioritizes college affordability.
