Discussion and action items included the approval of the financial report, the failure of a motion to adopt a resolution regarding designated time for prayer and religious text readings, approval of an employee retention stipend, approval of an early notification stipend for retiring exempt employees, and approval of an order calling a bond election for May 2, 2026. The board then entered and exited closed session to discuss personnel matters (administrators and directors contracts, resignations/terminations), real property, security, and consultation with the attorney. Upon returning to open session, personnel actions were approved. The agenda concluded with an update on the Texas Education Code / Team of Eight Training.
