Word generally consists of furnishing all labor and materials required to rehabilitate the coating system at the St. Michael Elevated Tank. The tank coating system rehabilitation shall consist of: removing the entire existing interior (wet) and exterior coating system with sandblasting; applying a new interior (wet) two (2) coating system consisting of one (1) coat zinc primer and one (1) coat epoxy; applying a new exterior three (3) coating system consisting of one (1) coat zinc primer, one (1) polyurethane intermediate coat, and one (1) fluoropolymer finish coat; power washing the tank interior (dry); applying a two (2) coat interior (dry) overlay system consisting of epoxy; preparing all areas of interior (dry) corrosion or welding for coating with power tools, hand tools, or abrasive blast cleaning; rehabilitation or replacement of steel in areas of corrosion; replace two (2) conduit roof penetration boots; install ventilation in existing control room; replacement of the existing drain valve in the bottom of the bowl; replacement and installation of recirculation pump and piping in control room; replace an estimated ten (10) riser pipe insulation jacket bands; replacement of two (2) manway gaskets and other appurtenant items as required by the Project Drawings, Specifications and Contract Documents.
