The Board of Commissioners reviewed and approved Resolution 973 for the FYE 2022 Budget, and Resolution 974 to charge off certain tenant accounts as uncollectible. The Elderly FYE 2022 Budget was also approved, along with the charge off of uncollectible debt for the Elderly FYE 2021. The board discussed utility lines maps of SPHA properties and Commissioner training options. Exterior renovation diagrams were presented for upcoming capital work.

The Board of Commissioners convened for a meeting, addressing several key items. Resolution 1000 was adopted, amending the Maintenance Charge List with changes effective January 1, 2025, including an increase in court costs. The board approved a \$400k CD to be given to Tower Community Bank based on received bids. Director Cross provided updates on road repairs, construction, and the need to replace maintenance trucks. The board approved Thanksgiving/Christmas bonuses for employees and the office cleaner.

The Board of Commissioners convened for a meeting where they approved the meeting agenda, the minutes from June 2025, and the financials for June and July 2025. There was no unfinished or new business discussed, although acknowledging the Elderly CD was approved and paid. Director Cross notified the board that HUD canceled a nationwide contract for REAC inspections for the remainder of 2025, and the contract for HVAC, roofs, and Exterior Renovations would be bidding in about a month.

The Board of Commissioners discussed donating to the City of South Pittsburg for the 150 yr Celebration. The director discussed a vacancy at Chester Powell Apartments and a request to move money from Operating to a CD for the next SPHA meeting.
