The Arp Independent School District is holding a bond election on November 4, 2025. Proposition A allows for the issuance of bonds not to exceed $4,950,000 for school facilities, buses, and vehicles. The Smith County Commissioners Court received an update on the construction of the Smith County Courthouse. Despite weather-related delays, the project remains on schedule.
