The Resident Council meeting discussed the need for more members and reviewed the profit from the pie social. New business included the Halloween Potluck, Liberty's dinner, Friendsgiving social, Tree Lighting, free coffee and cookie decorating, and the start of Euchre and cribbage nights. A new member was voted in, and attendees were encouraged to assist with event cleanup. The Jordan Tower I Renovation Project is 90% complete, with plans to be sent to Minnesota Housing for final approval before bidding. Building improvements include replacing water supply, waste, and vent piping, water heaters, entry doors, remodeling bathrooms, and replacing plumbing connections in the laundry room. Unit improvements cover new toilets, sinks, faucets, vanity cabinets, shower enclosures, light fixtures, outlets, flooring, wall base, accessories, kitchen sink, faucet, and electrical box.

The board meeting addressed several key areas including the approval of an updated Enterprise Income Verification (EIV) Reporting & Resident Monitoring Policy 2024, which includes revisions due to Housing Opportunity through Modernization Act of 2026 (HOTMA) compliance requirements. Updates were provided on HUD program budget, capital improvements for Hill Street, and potential applications for MHFA and AHTF match money. The Housing & Redevelopment Authority Board held a regular meeting covering various topics.
