NOTICE TO BIDDERS PETERS TOWNSHIP WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA The Peters Township Council is seeking bids for the replacement of an existing steel beam vehicular bridge with a span length of under 20-feet on Oakwood Road in Peters Township. The work generally includes excavation and demolition of the existing bridge, construction surveying/layout, soil erosion and sedimentation controls, maintenance and protection of traffic (including detour), installation of a new precast concrete box culvert, installation of membrane waterproofing, 36 C.Y. of poured-in-place concrete structure, 545 S.Y. of asphalt roadway reconstruction, and other structure and roadway items incidental to the work. Bid specifications are available at the Peters Township Municipal Building, 610 East McMurray Road, McMurray, PA 15317, Phone: (724) 941-4180. Bidding Documents may be purchased for $ 100.00 per set. No refund will be made for the return of any documents. Bids shall only be considered valid if bidder is included on the official plan holder list. Only the purchase of the plans and specifications from the Township will place purchaser on the official plan holder list. Bids for this project are due on Friday, November 20, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. and must be clearly marked "Oakwood Road Bridge" and delivered to the Township administration office at 610 East McMurray Road. All bidders must be PennDOT prequalified. A Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held at the Peters Township Municipal Building in Council Chambers on Tuesday, November 10, 2026 at 10:00 AM. Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) is required. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages must be paid on this project. Peters Township has the right to reject any and all bids. Mark A.
