Perry County

The Perry County Commission meeting included a review and approval of the minutes from the previous meeting held on September 18, 2014. The commission met with the Road & Bridge Department Supervisor to discuss departmental activities. A Perry County resident, Mr. Ken Schremp, discussed maintenance on Longview Road, which was identified as a private road, with maintenance being the responsibility of the property owners.

They inquired into various accounts presented for payment, including the General Revenue Fund, Road & Bridge Fund, Landfill Fund, Assessment Fund, Recycling Center Fund, 911 Telephone Tax Fund, Law Enforcement Sales Tax Fund, R&B Sales Tax Fund, Sheriff's Civil Fees Fund, LE Training Fund, and Election Services Fund. The Commission also met with the Road & Bridge Department Supervisor and the Emergency Management Director to discuss their departments' activities.

The Perry County Commission meeting included discussions on accounts payable, the County Treasurer's report, a road study review, an economic development report, and a County Clerk's report. The commission reviewed and approved accounts payable. The County Treasurer presented a monthly summary report for all County Funds. The commission met with a representative from the SEMO Regional Planning Commission to discuss a road study. The Economic Development Authority Director requested a review of a public comment for a grant program. The County Clerk reported on Buildings & Grounds projects and presented a facility inspection form for review. The commission also entered an executive session to discuss contractual matters related to the Perry County Joint Justice Center and reviewed rules of decorum during meetings.
