The Carthage Independent School District is holding a special bond election. Voters will decide on three propositions: Proposition A for constructing, improving, renovating, and equipping school facilities, including Baker Koonce Intermediate School, district-wide maintenance and improvement projects, land purchase, and buses; Proposition B for completing the baseball/softball complex and resurfacing the turf and track at Bulldog Stadium; and Proposition C for acquiring and updating instructional technology equipment. The election will take place on May 6, 2023, with early voting from April 24 to May 2, 2023.
