Task 1: Training, certifying, and recertifying auditors: With direction from the PMO and the COR, the selected contractor shall: Manage the auditor candidate application process. Administer the auditor certification process. Track the certification and recertification statues of every auditor. Conduct auditor candidate trainings and administer related exams. Manage probationary certification for newly certified auditors. Develop and deliver web-based continuing education coursework to auditors, consistent with the training requirements in the Auditor Handbook. Support the recertification process for auditors every three years. See attached file.

Task 1 - provide legal review and assistance to psob legal counsel on psob office level death and disability claims. The Contractor shall provide the following services: Provide legal review, analysis and guidance pertaining to the application and interpretation of the PSOB Act and implement regulations (and any related laws and regulations) necessary for administrative determinations of PSOB claims. Conduct initial legal review of preliminary evidence of record and provide written analysis of legal issues involved in the administrative determinations of claims for benefits. Prepare and provide screening or scoring for each claim, consistent with office policy. Conduct initial legal review of death or disability claims and all evidence of record for legal sufficiency. Provide written analysis of legal issues involved in the adjudication of PSOB Office level claims. Provide draft determinations of PSOB Office level claims for review by PSOB Legal Counsel.
