Work includes: Removal of existing asphalt covering approx. 5,650 SF Construction: Asphalt for 2 Pickleball Courts with footprint dimensions: 34x64 (2,176 SF)). Playing Area: 20 ft. side by 44 ft. long for both singles and doubles. Non-Volley Zone: 7 ft. from the next on both sides, spanning the full 20-ft width. Asphalt Base Specifications Subbase: 4 to 6" of compacted crushed stone or aggregate. Asphalt Thickness: 3" of hot-mix asphalt, (a 2" binder course and a 1" surface course). Slope: 0.83% to 1.0% slope on a single plane to ensure water drainage without affecting play. Surfacing & Line 2 Pickleball Courts with footprint dimensions: 34x64 (2,176 SF) Specifications Acrylic Coatings: 100% acrylic color surface system applied in multiple textured coats. Texture: Fine round silica sand mixed into the acrylic paint to provide skid resistance. Line Width: 2" wide, painted with white acrylic line paint. Line Accuracy: Variance must be within 1⁄4" over the entire layout. Net & Hardware Specifications Net Height: Equipment purchased and available. Post Distance: Net post must be placed 22 ft apart, exactly 12" outside the sidelines. Post Sleeves: Steel net sleeves set into concrete footings that are at least 12" in diameter and 36" deep.
