The board conducted an emergency meeting to address community concerns regarding mask requirements and school procedures during the COVID-19 pandemic. Discussion items included a review of the Student Handbook Special Addendum for COVID-19, which was tabled for a future meeting, and the approval of the Student Handbook with the removal of the mask requirement from the dress code.

The meeting focused on a teambuilding training session centered on curriculum and instruction, which included a Team of Eight self-evaluation. Additionally, the board discussed information regarding door hardware for classrooms, for which no action was taken.

The board also addressed the classification of fund balance categories, acceptance of a financial gift from the Nazareth Educational Foundation for technology, and the sanctioning of county-led extracurricular activities. Furthermore, the board deliberated on the approval of adjunct staff members, personnel for supervising school activities, and the purchase of a passenger van.

This wellness plan implements the District's policy FFA(LOCAL) to comply with federal requirements for a school wellness policy. It focuses on several key areas including soliciting stakeholder involvement, ensuring effective implementation and evaluation, establishing comprehensive nutrition guidelines, promoting healthy nutrition, and providing nutrition education. Additionally, the plan outlines goals for physical activity and other school-based activities to foster student wellness, healthy eating habits, and an active lifestyle within the school community.
