The National Institute on Aging (NIA/NIH) issued a sole source notice to extend Contract No. 75N95021C00008 with the University of Washington to continue operation of the Aged Rodent Tissue Bank (ARTB) for an additional 12 months to March 14, 2027. This notice is a sole-source modification under FAR 6.302-1 and is not a request for competitive proposals, although the Government will consider written responses of interest and capability submitted within 30 days of posting. The extension is intended to avoid interruption of mission-critical biospecimen collection, storage, and distribution services while the follow-on contract is competed.
