This task order shall support the delivery of an improved version of the previously demonstrated computational methodology for generating 4d structured simplicial grids for representative aerodynamic configurations and implementing second-order edge-based finite-volume discretizations of time-dependent, inviscid-flow equations on such grids. Specifically, the contractor shall deliver the 4d structured simplicial- grid generation and edge-based solver code(s) with verified solid-wall, inflow, outflow, and farfield boundary conditions in the space-time domain. The codes shall include preprocessing and postprocessing utilities to set up the numerical simulation and analyze the results in terms of the design-order accuracy and iterative convergence. The documentation should be sufficient to allow the nasa personnel to set up, execute, and analyze the simulations, make appropriate modifications to the code if necessary, and assist with troubleshooting.
