Mikisew Cree First Nation (MCFN) has issued RFP MLD-2026-001 inviting qualified consulting firms or multidisciplinary consultant teams to submit proposals for a Feasibility Study supporting industrial and commercial development on reserve land. The work is tied to the Allison Bay Subdivision Expansion Project at Allison Bay Reserve #219 in Fort Chipewyan, Alberta, with the primary focus on assessing the feasibility of an industrial laydown yard and broader industrial/commercial opportunities that could be integrated into the subdivision expansion. The RFP is being issued in support of MCFN's application to the Government of Alberta's Indigenous Reconciliation Initiative – Economic Stream (AIRI-ES), and the associated funding parameters affect the engagement's scope, timeline, and pricing.
