Construction of tank improvements. Tank Improvement project, with the installation of an aeration and mixing system as well as other necessary improvements. The work includes but it not limited to: Coating removal and replacement of all interior surfaces. Coating removal and replacement of all exterior surfaces. Coating removal and replacement of all vault piping, valves, and fittings. Removal and replacement of existing grout between the tank foundation and tank baseplate. Grout shall be coated in accordance with Division 13 specifications. Removal and replacement of the existing tank ladder. Ladder shall be replaced with one in accordance with OSHA Standards and include a stainless-steel safety climb cable as well as an aluminum lockable climb shield at the ladders base. Installation of a ladder platform at the roof manway with self-closing gate. Removal and replacement of roof handrail with the addition of a safety climb cable. Removal and replacement of existing roof vents (3 EA). Roof vents to be replaced with aluminum clog and frost-resistant vent. Installation of bolted flange plate with a #24 mesh stainless steel screen on the existing overflow pipe. Removal and replacement of existing Corrpro cathodic protection system. Installation of GridBee aeration and mixing system and all associated electrical work. Disinfection and testing. Site grading around the immediate area adjacent to the tank foundation to provide 6" minimum of foundation project above grade. Installation of panelboard, surge protection device, SCADA panel, wiring devices, junction boxes, grounding, conduit and cable. Electrical demolition and field acceptance tests of new electrical equipment. Conduit trenching.
