The board report discusses the Ferrilli Support Services for Recruit Agreement. The agreement ensures the Ellucian Recruit program, which is critical for prospective students applying to the College, remains up-to-date and available. Ferrilli will provide services to update and optimize Recruit, keep it current, and troubleshoot issues. The support agreement includes monthly maintenance and 24x7 monitoring.

The meeting included reports on enrollment increases, strategic plan development, and the rollout of salary equalization. The Luecht Historical Collection was presented, and a visit from SIU leadership was announced to discuss collaboration. Updates were provided on facilities, including the Foglia CATI art installation and classrooms, Makerspace and FabLab, and other construction/renovation projects. A presentation on High Impact Faculty Practices was given. Preliminary December financial statements were reviewed. Board members discussed the Foglia CATI tours, the student speaker at Winter Commencement, and potential impacts of post-election executive actions on the college community, including support for undocumented students and families.

The meeting included updates on Spring 2025 enrollment, the impact of academic programs on enrollment, and a "You're Not Alone" classroom blitz to support vulnerable student populations. The board discussed the MCC Strategic Plan 2025-2030 and received updates on various renovation projects. A presentation was given on refinancing the 2017 debt certificates, and reports were heard from the Adjunct Faculty Association and Staff Council. The board also approved the consent agenda, healthcare equipment purchases, and course fees for FY 2025. There was also a discussion regarding staffing funds.
