Requirement to complete the required training and clinical hours in order to meet National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) standards. The training program will follow an NREMT-approved curriculum, covering key topics such as anatomy, patient assessment, trauma care, and airway management. It will also include clinical and field internships to ensure real-world experience in both hospital and emergency settings. Students must demonstrate proficiency in critical EMT skills, such as CPR, patient assessment, and use of an AED, through practical skills testing. The program must also include written exams and practical assessments to verify knowledge and ability. Additionally, to maintain NREMT certification, Marines will need to complete periodic recertification and continuing education courses in line with NREMT requirements. Training will be conducted aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico at MCESG facilities and at contract-designated locations, with clinical requirements fulfilled only at contractor-designated locations. As part of this effort, interested vendors are encouraged to conduct a site survey prior to development and submission of their quote to ensure alignment with NREMT standards and training requirements.
