Manhattanville College

The Manhattanville College 2022-2027 Strategic Plan, titled "Valiant by Design," focuses on three key goals: ensuring long-term viability through a transformative education grounded in liberal arts and professional programs; adapting to student needs and preparing them for success in a global society; and creating a supportive and engaged work environment for employees. The plan builds upon the successes of the 2017-2020 Strategic Plan and addresses challenges revealed through a Middle States self-study, including declining residential student populations and increasing demand for online learning. Key initiatives include diversifying student populations (including adult learners), developing innovative academic programs aligned with labor market demands, enhancing institutional branding, improving operational efficiencies, strengthening diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, and fostering a strong sense of community and belonging. The plan emphasizes strategic collaborations, experiential learning, and data-driven decision-making to achieve its objectives.
