The board meeting involved a public hearing on the middle school restroom and east entrance renovation project, with bids received from three contractors. The board accepted the lowest bid from L&L Builders. Reports were presented on the High School Math Intervention Program and the IASB Day on the Hill. Several resignations were approved, along with various contracts for teachers, coaches, and staff. Camera upgrades for the middle and high schools were approved, along with specifications and bidding procedures for new school buses and SUVs. The board also discussed alternate dates for the April meeting and held a closed session to discuss the performance of the district superintendent.

The meeting included discussion on Next Generation Science Standards implementation, the IASB annual State Convention, a 10-year facility plan, and upcoming AEA Legislative forums. Changes to the "Food Service Procurement" policy were approved, as was the open enrollment of a student from another school district.

A closed session will be held to discuss the 2024-25 Emergency Operations Plan, followed by a vote to approve the plan in open session.
