The meeting commenced with the Call to Order, Invocation, and Pledge of Allegiance. Key discussions included Board and Superintendent Reports, which covered President's Statement, review of the Board Activity Chart, Superintendent's Comments, and clarifications on board member questions. Recognition events included the introduction of Student Ambassadors, School Board Recognition Month, and awards from GFOA and ASBO to Business Operations. The Board held a Closed Session to discuss real property valuation and personnel matters before reconvening. Consent items approved included the Annual Microsoft Software Licensing Renewal, Financial Statements for November 2025, Budget Transfer and Amendment Requests for January 2026, and fees for AP and IB Examinations. Under Action Items, the Board approved the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for the Fiscal Year Ended August 31, 2025, the Quarterly Investment Report for the Quarter Ending November 2025, an Attendance Boundary Adjustment, the purchase of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment for the Faye Beaulieu Family Support Center, and authorization for a Commercial Electricity Service Agreement signature. A Public Hearing was held regarding the 2025-2026 Targeted Improvement Plan.

The meeting commenced with the call to order and establishment of a quorum. Following a brief open forum for citizen requests on agenda and non-agenda items, the Board adjourned to a closed (executive) session. The purposes for the executive session included private consultation with the Board's attorney, discussion regarding the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property, consideration of personnel matters specifically the evaluation of the Superintendent, and deliberation regarding security devices. The Board reconvened into open session, followed by a motion to adjourn the meeting, which subsequently carried.

The SHAC meeting included updates from various departments, such as science/health curriculum, counseling/mental health, and health services. Health services reported on a new SHAC flyer, the Save-A-Smile partnership with HEB schools providing dental screenings, and the Asthma 411 program expansion. HEB Nurses will expand hands-only CPR instruction to students, and the district is purchasing additional AEDs. Family engagement updates included adult ESL classes, the "Welcome to HEB" program, and the DPAC. Ryan Eason from Medical City discussed the 21 Day Snacking Challenge and the Kids Teaching Kids nutrition education program. Subsequent SHAC meetings will be held on Google Meets, and suggestions were made to increase opportunities for parents to learn hands-only CPR.
