This five-year strategic plan for the School of Education aims to establish it as a top-ranking institution known for impactful research. The plan is structured around four key goals: influencing policy relevant to Black and underserved populations, sustaining academic excellence through holistic and technologically advanced preparation, expanding research impact through advanced data analysis, and achieving operational efficiency across all departments. It seeks to prepare transformational leaders, empower communities, and promote racial and social justice, underpinned by values of excellence, equity, and continuous improvement.

The strategic plan for the College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences focuses on improving scholarship, teaching, and learning, strengthening academic programs, promoting faculty and student participation in service activities, enhancing research capacity, and ensuring fiscal responsibility. It aims to increase student retention and graduation rates, achieve accreditation requirements, improve faculty competence, expand interprofessional education, increase external research funds, and enhance revenue to support all programs.
