Hcmud No. 36 is soliciting construction proposals to convert the disinfection system at Water Plant No. 1 to a chloramine disinfection system, including installation of a precast building and a liquid ammonium sulfate chemical feed system. The work also includes reinforced concrete pavement, installation of PVC and ductile iron piping, emergency eyewash and shower stations, electrical work, and corrosion protection for above-ground piping; the contract period is expected to be 90 calendar days after notice to proceed.
