The Hammond Central School Three-Year Technology Plan for 2025-2028 focuses on upgrading the district's network infrastructure, rotating and upgrading technology devices, and implementing the New York State Computer Science and Digital Fluency Standards. The Creating Healthy Schools and Communities (CHSC) project aims to improve policies, practices, and environments for physical activity and nutrition in schools within St. Lawrence County. The strategy involves assessing and improving policies aligned with Local School Wellness Policy (LWP) requirements; establishing comprehensive school physical activity programs; and increasing access to healthy foods. The project provides technical assistance, professional development, and funding for equipment and resources to support implementation. The project also extends to community settings, focusing on physical activity and nutrition policies in early care and education, food service guidelines in worksites, and community planning for active transportation.

The board meeting covered several key topics, including the establishment of reserves for the NYS Employees Retirement System and the NYS Teachers Retirement System, with corresponding fund transfers. The meeting also included the approval of the 2020-2022 AIS/RTI Intervention Plan, the 2020-2021 Professional Development Plan, an updated Title I Parent and Family Engagement policy, and the appointment of a new Athletic Director. Other agenda items included approval of a JUUL agreement, acceptance of a resignation, and the appointment of a chairperson for the 2020-21 Budget Vote.
